Death Has Spoken - Call of the Abyss
Dark cold night
Freezing fright
Ominous thud
Slight breeze
For winds to pierce
And storms to flood
Cloudy, gloomy night
Freezing fright
Weak and weary
Pale Moon
Crumbles bit by bit
Black clouds - gathering
All the sounds I heard
Near and far
Wasn’t so clear
Like from this cold night
And I know
That I shall meet my fate
Among the foamy waves
And flooding storms
Something from far
Off it seemed
Deep and secret to me
Hidden by the dark
Waiting for me
In this time
The eye begins to see
That the abyss
Is peering at me
The silence below the sea
It calms me down
When the grim emptiness
Overspread the Earth
Fearful the doom
Which overwhelms
The blackness of this night
Swallows me
Dark cold night
Freezing fright
For winds to pierce
And storms to flood
Cloudy gloomy night
Freezing fright
Something from far
Off it seemed
Deep and secret to me
Hidden by the dark
Waiting for me
Weak and weary
Pale Moon
Crumbles bit by bit
Black clouds - gathering

Lurking Fear

Death Has Spoken - Lurking Fear
Unexpected silence
Disturbing calm
Growing anxiety
Before that comes
It’s creeping through my soul
Relishing my despair
No longer whole
I’m falling apart
The unknown things
Of the night
Sent a shudder
Of fright
Grinning fear
Wards of madness
By dulling the memory
Of unutterable things
All the snarling chaos
And grinning fear
That lurk behind life
In the throes of a nightmare
Every second I was consumed
With a painful madness
It perches in the soul
Frightens me
There’s no escape
Or any hope
Dead ends around me
In the abysmal blackness
I grind my teeth with pain
Killing my senses
In despair i can see
That the end is near
All the snarling chaos
And grinning fear
That lurk behind life
In the throes of a nightmare
Every second I was consumed
With a painful madness
It’s perches in the soul
Frightens me
Can’t get away…
Draws me…
I know something is coming…
But it’s no use…

Woe

Death Has Spoken - Woe
Cloud-piled sky
Rushed by the wind
As far as the eyes
Can see
The leaves
Are falling all the time
And rotting
On the ground
Greyish
Withered grass
Aeon-long death
Of this land
The touch of mystery
The sense of dread
Brooding madness
Emptiness and sadness
Nightmarish aura
The lonely hills
Curse-muttering brooks
Croaking rooks
Forbidden secrets
And unhuman land
Where life and joy
Died long time ago
The sound of deep ocean
And rough waves
Endless emptiness
There’s no way back for me
Cloud-piled sky
over the sea
The light fled
Brittle wreckage
Dead life and joy
The touch of mystery
The sense of dread
Brooding madness
Emptiness and sadness
Nightmarish aura
The lonely hills
Curse-muttering brooks
Croaking rooks

Crawling to the Tomb

Death Has Spoken - Crawling to the Tomb
Night-shriek
Deep down
Slowly
Creeps in
Heard
No more
All hope
Is gone
So through endless twilights
I dreamed and waited
Thought I knew
What I was waiting for
One of those nameless blights
Of outer voids
Whose faint daemon scratchings
I sometimes hear
On the farthest rim
Of space
On that spectral
And desolate mountain
Fear
Sadness
Crawling
From madness
The way to
Dusty death
Brief candle
Comes to an end
Seen
No more
All hope
Is gone
So through endless twilights
I dreamed and waited
Thought I knew
What I was waiting for
One of those nameless blights
Of outer voids
Whose faint daemon scratchings
I sometimes hear
On the farthest rim
Of space
On that spectral
And desolate mountain
Fear
Sadness
Crawling
From madness
So through endless twilights
I dreamed and waited
Thought I knew
What I was waiting for

In Vain

Death Has Spoken - In Vain
The ground full of sorrow
Banish blissful sleep
Come shadow of my end
And shape of rest
Walking in grief’s field
No time to prepare
In dirges sad delight
Dreams infuse the night
Pain worn out
Allied to death
In deceit and squalor
By a route obscure
The sun should harbour with the light
In darkness I’ll learn to dwell
Urged me
Seething
Hopeless howl
Suffering
Mists of mirth
Cried out to me
I can’t get through
The intense
And utter
Raylessness
Of the Night
That endureth
For evermore
Panic-stricken
I fled in vain
The bright glow
Blood red
Of crimson
Of the setting sun
I was there
And saw everything
Like no other
There was no warmth
No care, no hope
Panic-stricken
I fled in vain
To the ends of the earth
With every horror of thoughts
The intense
And utter
Raylessness
Of the Night
That endureth
For evermore
Panic-stricken
I fled in vain
I fled in vain

Under the Flame

Death Has Spoken - Under the Flame
Release my own fear
And let me see
All these demons
Of my fate
As the weakest
As the living thing
Let me forget
Let me rest
As far as I can see
As long as I can remember
I held on to broken dreams
And creeped out of sorrows
I’ve been lost for so long
For so very long
Living with it day by day
Without end and meaning
From the embers
Under the flame
Resign to tears and fears
From the embers
Under the flame
Resign to tears and fears
The wind cried loud
Then silenced again
The light shone down
Day turns to dust
I don’t expect
Anything anymore
Powerless
And abandoned
As far as I can see
As long as I can remember
I held on to broken dreams
And creeped out of sorrows
I’ve been lost for so long
For so very long
Living with it day by day
Without end and meaning
From the embers
Under the flame
Resign to tears and fears
From the embers
Under the flame
Resign to tears and fears
